The important finding of Dr. Samuel Hahnemann" Substance which are capable of producing symptoms in a healthy human being, are capable of curing the same symptoms when given in micro quantities" this marked the formal beginning of homoeopathy in 1796.
He recognized disease as alteration of vital force and cure as normalization of the vital force. When a medicament is given to a healthy person his vital force gives biological response (suffering) which is correctable by the same medicament in minute quantity. Dr James Compton Burnett died April 2, 1901. Dr Burnett worked for the development of homeopathy with his genius leading him into fields of great fruitfulness.
